To become 2026 Miss Texas, a contestant must first win a local competition, a process requiring personal commitment, hard work and talent. More than twelve thousand young women participate each year in the local and state events, culminating in the selection of 51 national finalists who vie for the Miss America title.
Age & Education (Miss)
Must be 18 by the State Competition (Jun , 2026) and no older than 27 at the State Competition (2026 Competition),
Residency
Must fulfill ONE of the following:
Must reside in the state of competition,
Or be enrolled in and physically attending classes on a full-time basis at an accredited college or university,
Or be employed on a full-time basis in the state in which she intends to compete.
Citizenship
Must be a citizen of the United States of America
Must be a Female.

To become 2026 Miss Texas' Teen, a contestant must first win a local competition, a process requiring personal commitment, hard work and talent. More than twelve thousand young women participate each year in the local and state events, culminating in the selection of 51 national finalists who vie for the Miss America's Teen title. It only costs you $150.00 (our local fee) to compete in the Fort Worth 's / Coppell's Teen Competition. All you need is commitment, perseverance, talent and goals!
Age
Must be 14-18 years of age on the first day of the State Competition. You may be 13 when you compete locally but you must be 14 by June 21, 2026.
Residency
Must fulfill one of the following:
Must reside in the state of competition
Be successfully enrolled in and physically attending classes on a full-time basis at an accredited public or private school, or home schooled within the state of competition.
Citizenship
Must be a citizen of the United States of America
Must be a Female.
