The Miss America Organization does not condone, endorse, or excuse any celebration of an individual's death-no matter one's personal or political views. To celebrate the passing of another human being is contrary to the values of compassion, dignity, and respect that Miss America has stood for throughout its history.
Our mission is and will remain-focused on empowering young women through scholarship, service, and leadership. We expect those associated with our program, past or present, to reflect the principles of integrity and respect in both word and deed. "
