To become Miss Texas, a contestant must first win a local competition, a process requiring personal commitment, hard work and talent. More than twelve thousand young women participate each year in the local and state events, culminating in the selection of 51 national finalists who vie for the Miss America title.
Age & Education (Miss)
Must be 18 by the State Competition (Jun 21-28, 2025) and no older than 27 at the State Competition (2025 Competition),
Residency
Must fulfill ONE of the following:
Must reside in the state of competition,
Or be enrolled in and physically attending classes on a full-time basis at an accredited college or university,
Or be employed on a full-time basis in the state in which she intends to compete.
Citizenship
Must be a citizen of the United States of America
Must be a Female.
The first thing we need is your entry form. Click above at the top of the page to open Entry Form. Fill in the information, go to the Pay Button listed on the Home Page and pay your $155.00.
STEP 2:
After a Candidate pays the $39.99 registration fee (Miss & Teen), the Executive Director receives an email with the interested Candidate’s name and contact information. A candidate only pays the $39.99 registration fee once during the 2026 cycle. Also pay $30.00 to the American Heart Association,
The first step is to enter and win a local competition. Local competitions are held throughout Texas. Once you win a local title you qualify to advance to the Miss Texas Competition held each ye Richardson, Texas.
